At Home Activities to do With Your Kids
Summer is finally here and with that comes a lot of free time for your children. For some, summer can be a less busy time of the year where not many activities are going on. This can be hard on kids as all they want to do is to be busy. Many kids can tend to get bored or run out of things to do in the summer. They tend to get bored. Here at Midvale UT Apartments we want you to have the best experience and we want you to have fun. So here is a list of activities that you can do with your kids this summer where you do not even have to leave the house.
- Teach your kids how to cook or bake. This can be a very fun and time consuming activity that you can do with all of your kids. You could have them watch you make dinner and while they are watching you can teach them and tell them what you are doing. If your kids aren’t interested in helping make dinner see if they want to make a taste treat like maybe cookies. All kids love making cookies and it can really be a blast for the whole family.
- Play games. Family game time can be the best. Play a card game or even a board game and see how competitive each family member can get. If you do not want to get competitive, pull out your favorite puzzle and see if your kids can put it together.
- Pull out the paper and start drawing. Coloring is a great activity for kids during the summer, especially really little ones. This can give your child an opportunity to get creative and to use their imagination. Just have fun with it.
- Play hide and seek. This can really get your kids thinking. As a parent it will be fun to see where your kids hide.
