Tackling-Spring-Cleaning

April is finally here, and in between rain storms we are getting warm weather. This could mean it is time to go through your Midvale UT Apartments apartment and switch your winter cold weather items and clothes for your summer warm clothing and belongings. This process can seem like a massive undertaking, regardless of how many people you live with. Spring cleaning with a larger family can be hard as there are so many spring activities going on, and everyone in your home is on the move constantly. 

The best way to control the chaos of a busy family is to find one or two days that are the least busy. Once you have those days picked, put them on the calendar for everyone to see. Let everyone who will be participating in this cleaning project know what the plan is. If there are children decide what they are capable of, and if they can help. 

Get any supplies you will need in advance. Going to get cleaning supplies from a closet or drawer and then finding there is none left can set back your spring cleaning time table. Running to the store takes time you may not have. Make a list and get all cleaning supplies bought and ready before you begin. This could also include packing boxes and other containers to transport or store items. 

Have specific assignments for each member of the family. This could be every person being assigned an area, or everyone working together in one room until that room is clean. Set expectations so everyone knows what their responsibilities are. Staying organized will help your spring cleaning run smoothly and more effectively. 

Getting your house ready for spring will have everyone ready for summer. With everything done, the fun warm weather activities can begin.
