]]> March is a hard month as some days are very warm and sunny and others are rainy and cold. Kids can start to get reslest for being cooped up in your Midvale Apartment all winter. The warm March days are great because kids can go outside and play. Rainy days keep everyone at home, mostly likely with nothing to do. It can be hard to deal with their excited energy in your apartment. Finding activities to entertain them while you get the things you need to do can be hard, here are a few ideas for how to keep kids entertained on those rainy March days. 

 

A very underrated activity that tends to get forgotten about is board games. Many families have a closet full of board games that never get played. Pull out your favorite games and teach your kids how to play. If you can not play, pull a few out and point them out to your kids. Board games may seem boring to kids, but once you get playing they will be having fun for hours. 

 

Arts and crafts are a great way to get your kids using their creativity. This could be making bracelets, coloring in a coloring book, using play dough to make crazy things, and so much more. There are a variety of easy arts and crafts templates and ideas on the internet. Many use things that are found in everyday households. 

 

Just watching a movie can keep kids entertained, but if you want to make it even more fun make it a rainy day theater. Get snacks like popcorn or candy that would be found in a movie theater, you can even theme the snacks to what the movie you are watching is. Make fake movie tickets your children will have to use to get into the rainy day theater.
